CARREFOUR CAMPAING
35th BIRTHDAY
We create an anniversary campaign that avoided the traditional "it's our anniversary, but it's you who get the gift".

The idea was create a replica of the first Carrefour shop in Brazil with the products that were a part of this first moment of the brand in the country. A great effort of historical research, product design and set design was made in order for us to transport the clients in time, taking them back to 1975.

The proof that revolves the success and public acceptance of the campaing was measured in return on sales. 19% increase in sales of household appliances; sales volume 10% higher than expected, during the period stipulated, even without announcing any special offer.
 
HOTSITE
We celebrated with customers, employees and suppliers the 35 year anniversary of Carrefour creating a hotsite where the public could go back in time reliving the past at the last three decades and revisiting their own memories of a good time telling stories of their lives that began in Carrefour.
 
NEWSPAPER
To get people to the 70's, bringing up the memories of the year that Carrefour came to Brazil and the all the good memories that the consumers have of the brand, the two leading newspapers of São Paulo came out with their original cover of 09/05/1975, date in which Carrefour first started business in Brazil. The cover of these newspapers brought important news of that time, including a highlight of the launch of hypermarket in Brazil, giving to the consumers a nostalgic feeling about that time.
